Pearl Street Swim was created with heart by Sophie Sikaitis, a mother of three and entrepreneur whose background is in branding and events. Sophie and her husband Jeff live with their children Penelope (5) & Everly (3) and Fischer (6 months) in Fairfield Beach, Connecticut. They are a passionate family that prioritizes a playful and creative life.
During their daughter’s first summer by the beach, Sophie was disheartened with the lack of quality and childhood-appropriate swimwear available. With many sweet summers ahead she imagined a responsibly designed and produced coastal inspired line of children’s swimwear that would play a role in countless beautiful beach, swim and play moments. And with that, Pearl Street Swim came to life.
Pearl Street Swim is designed in Connecticut and produced sustainably in Porto, Portugal and makes a conscious effort to be eco-efficient and have a low impact on the environment in the design, production and sales of their product. Pearl Street Swim uses sustainable fabrics made from ECONYL® regenerated nylon and recycled polyester for our custom prints, our shipping packaging is made with 100% recycled material and our reusable beach pouches are made with recycled + BPA-free EVA material.
